Chorilo at chor.com 2026 in Leipzig – Booth 3

From 1 to 4 October 2026 the choral world meets in Leipzig: chor.com is back – and Chorilo will be there. You will find us at booth 3 in the forum. And because a trade fair should be about more than collecting brochures, we have brought something along: every choir that stops by our booth gets at least 50 percent off the first year. Possibly more – let us surprise you.

chor.com comes to Leipzig for the first time

The event is organised by the German Choral Association, with Stephan Doormann as artistic director. This year Leipzig is the host city for the first time – fitting for a place where choral music has been part of daily life for centuries. The singing, rehearsing and debating happens at the Kongresshalle am Zoo and the Volkshochschule Leipzig.

The motto is "Building Bridges". It is about connections: between people, between generations and between musical styles that rarely share a concert programme. For a gathering where church music, pop, contemporary choral writing and amateur choir work all happen under the same roof, that is an honest choice of theme.

Around 150 workshops, masterclasses and reading sessions

The programme is dense. Across four days there are around 150 workshops, masterclasses and reading sessions – from conducting and vocal training to very practical questions of repertoire. The teaching staff includes Winnie Brückner, Erik Sohn and Yuval Weinberg, among others.

Then there are the concerts, which are a reason to travel in their own right: the Calmus Ensemble, Latvian Voices, the SWR Vokalensemble and the Thomanerchor Leipzig all perform during these days. Tickets for those are sold separately.

One note for anyone deciding late: online registration for professional participants closed on 31 August. Tickets are still available on site at the information desk from 1 October onwards.

The forum is free to enter

If you do not have a workshop ticket: the forum at the Kongresshalle am Zoo is open to everyone at no charge. Around 60 companies present themselves there – sheet music and other publishers, record labels, technology providers, music colleges, schools and academies, and organisers of choir trips, festivals and concerts. For conductors and committee members it is one of the few occasions in the year when all of that stands in one place.

The supporting programme in the forum is free as well: debates on cultural policy, film screenings, pop-up concerts with schoolchildren from Leipzig and a speed-dating session with composers. So you can simply drop in, look around and spend an afternoon there.

You will find us at booth 3

We are bringing Chorilo along – not as a video to watch, but as something to try out. Bring your own questions, ideally the awkward ones. How do I keep track of rehearsal attendance without typing up lists every week? How does new sheet music reach every singer's tablet without anyone emailing files around? How do I stay on top of membership fees and the cash book when I have only just taken over the role? How do I sell tickets for the next concert without planning in two weeks of manual work?

We will walk through your everyday choir life together: members and voice sections, events with acceptances and cancellations, the digital music folder on the tablet, the cash book and membership fees, ticket sales for concerts, the voice trainer for practising your own part, and the sheet music shop. If you like, we will look straight at how your choir is set up and what a switch would actually involve. And if Chorilo is not the right fit for your choir, we will tell you that too.

At least 50 percent off the first year

The offer is deliberately simple: every choir that visits us at booth 3 gets at least 50 percent off the base subscription for the first year. There is nothing to sign up for in advance and no form to fill in. Just come by and talk to us – how large the discount turns out to be is something you will find out at the booth.

"Building Bridges" – a motto that fits

In a choir, building bridges is rarely a purely musical matter. Most choirs do not struggle with the pieces but with everything around them: who has been told, who has the current edition of the music, who is coming on Saturday, who has paid their fee, who hears first when a rehearsal is cancelled. The more of that runs by itself, the more time is left for the music – and the less the whole choir depends on the two or three people who already do everything. That is exactly where we come in.

The key details at a glance

chor.com 2026, 1 to 4 October, Leipzig. The forum takes place at the Kongresshalle am Zoo, Pfaffendorfer Straße 31, and entry there is free. You will find Chorilo at booth 3. The discount for choirs who come by: at least 50 percent off the first year.

If Leipzig is too far

Not every choir can travel to Saxony in early October. If you cannot make it, simply get in touch through our contact form. We will then show you Chorilo online, at a time that suits your rehearsal schedule.

And to everyone who is coming: we are looking forward to four days in Leipzig, to plenty of conversations, and to finally putting faces to the choirs we usually only write to. See you at booth 3.
