Dieses Stück entstand 2013 für das Chor-Festival CroPatria in Kroatien und gewann dort 2014 die Silbermedaille im dazugehörigen Kompositionswettbewerb. Das Stück ist geprägt von vielen gegenläufigen Rhythmen in allen Stimmen, die dem Stück einen Eindruck von Vielstimmigkeit verleihen, obwohl nur vier Stimmen beteiligt sind. Es soll wie eine Menschenmenge klingen, die wild durcheinander ruft und sich über die Geburt Jesu freut. Es gibt Hauptmotive, die das Stück durchziehen und immer wiederkehren, jedoch gewinnt gegen Ende das ursprüngliche Gaudete-Motiv aus dem 15. Jahrhundert die Oberhand: nachdem es einmal durch alle Stimmen gegangen ist, vereinen sich alle Stimmen zum Höhepunkt des Stücks und singen gemeinsam einen homophonen Chorsatz zur Hauptmelodie, bevor der Chor wieder zerbricht und jede Stimme wieder ihrem eigenen Rhythmus folgt. In der Coda kommen dann schließlich wieder alle Stimmen zusammen und singen sich immer mehr in Ekstase, bis das Stück mit einem fulminanten Schlussakkord endet.

Understanding the voicing: SATB▾
The voicing tells you which vocal parts your choir will need to sing.

Understanding difficulty levels▾

The licence covers rehearsing and performing through Chorilo. External performance rights (e.g. GEMA, PRS — where applicable) remain unaffected.

Distribute the licences
Licences are assigned automatically as soon as members open the music. In the "Licences" area you can also assign the seats you bought manually to individual members or to the whole ensemble — for example when you print the music for a member.
