Reorder media
Sort photos and videos in your album by drag and drop. Without manual sorting, items stay in the order they were uploaded.
Diese Funktion ist nur im Web verfügbar.
What is this?
The reorder feature lets you decide the order in which photos and videos appear in an album. Without manual sorting, Chorilo shows media in the order they were uploaded — oldest first.
As soon as you move a single item by drag and drop, Chorilo locks the order for the entire album. So you can pull individual highlights to the front without scrambling everything else.
How to reorder
- Open "Media" and click on the desired album.
- Click and hold a media item — on phone or tablet, tap and hold briefly.
- Drag it to the new position. A dashed gap shows where it will land.
- Release — all other items shift automatically, the new order is saved instantly.
When is this useful?
- Concert order — sort photos chronologically by program piece.
- Highlights up front — show the best shots first.
- Group photos together — keep similar shots side by side.
- Tell a story — from arrival via the performance to the closing applause.
Permission
You need Create & edit albums and media to change the order. By default, choir directors, the board and media managers have this permission.
Tips
- Sort before key moments — e.g. before sending the album link to your members.
- New uploads land at the end — after sorting, you can drag fresh photos to the right spot.
- On phones, dragging works the same — tap and hold, then move to the new position.
