What is this?
Edit notes lets you correct the pitches of a voice trainer exercise right in your browser — for example when a note is wrong and the voice trainer therefore plays the wrong pitch. You work in a simple notation view and see the notes the way they sound. The print-quality look of a score doesn’t matter here — it’s all about the right notes.
How to edit the notes
- Open the piece and switch to the voice trainer.
- Click Edit notes on the exercise. The editor opens with the loaded notes.
- Correct the wrong pitches directly in the notation view.
- Click Save.
Saving vs. regenerating — the difference
- Saving stores your corrections but does not yet change the audible voice trainer. This lets you calmly fix several spots one after another.
- Only when you’re done do you click Regenerate voice trainer. The exercise playback is then rebuilt from your corrected notes. This takes a few minutes.
- Until you regenerate, the exercise shows the Notes changed hint.
What to keep in mind
- You can only edit the notes of that exercise — other pieces cannot be loaded.
- Very fine ornaments may differ slightly when saving in rare cases; this is irrelevant for correcting wrong pitches.
- Only press Regenerate voice trainer once you’re really done with all corrections — each run takes a few minutes.
Permission
To edit the notes you need the Create & edit sheet music permission.
Frequently asked questions
Does saving immediately rebuild the voice trainer?▾
No. Saving only stores your corrections. The audible playback is updated only after you click “Regenerate voice trainer”.
Can I load a different piece into the editor?▾
No. The editor only lets you edit the notes of the opened exercise. Foreign or external notes cannot be loaded.
What does the “Notes changed” hint mean?▾
It shows that you saved corrections that haven’t reached the audible playback yet. Click “Regenerate voice trainer” to apply them.
