Remove a link
Only the parent removes a parent link, in the profile under People I manage. The child is notified. Choir director and child cannot remove it.
What is this?
A parent link can be removed only by the parent. Neither the child nor the choir director can do this. That is intentional: the parent is responsible and decides when the child carries on alone.
How to remove a link
- Open your profile, section Parent link.
- Go to "People I manage".
- Choose "Remove" next to the child and confirm.
The child receives a notification. From now on you can no longer respond for this child and no longer see what only the child sees.
What children and the choir director can do
- Child: cannot remove the link, not even with their own login and not even after their 18th birthday. Nothing is removed by itself. Anyone who no longer wants the link asks the parent.
- Choir director: cannot remove the link, but can remove the parent from the choir. The link then no longer applies in this choir. In other shared choirs it stays active.
Linking again
After removing, you can link again at any time, in your profile or via the choir director. The request works like the first time; the other side has to confirm again.
Account deletion
If either side deletes their Chorilo account, all their links are removed automatically. The other side's membership in the choir is not affected.
