How do I plan choir rehearsals?
Rehearsal planning means scheduling rehearsals, collecting firm responses, tracking attendance and reminding members in good time. In Chorilo you create an event in seconds. Every invited member is notified automatically and accepts or declines with one tap. Event series reflect your weekly rehearsal rhythm, reminders go out automatically to everyone who hasn't responded yet, and the choir calendar can be subscribed to in Google, Apple or Outlook.
Creating a rehearsal: step by step
- Open the Events section and click New event.
- Enter the title, date, time and location of the rehearsal.
- Choose who is invited: the whole ensemble or specific voice parts (for example a sectional for sopranos and altos).
- If needed, turn on Recurrence for a series of rehearsals (weekly, monthly or a custom rhythm).
- Optionally link the sheet music you'll be rehearsing.
- Turn on automatic reminders and save.
As soon as you save, every invited member gets a push notification; within ten minutes a summary email with all new events follows.

Yes. When creating the event you pick specific voice parts, for example a sectional just for sopranos and altos. All other members don't see this event.
